'PORTRAITS OF BRAZILIAN MUSICIANS' as well as being a collection of portraits of Brazilian musicians it is also a catalogue of the exhibition of the same name. Most of the drawings are in the collection with the help of the online magazine 'Musibrasil', a collaboration that lasted from 2001 until 2010, the year the portal closed. 2001 was also the year of my inclusion in the 'DICTIONARY OF CONTEMPORARY ILLUSTRATORS by Egisto Bragaglia and Teresa Grossi. The book wants to commemorate some of the leading exponents of mpb. All the drawings were made of paper or card in A3 or A4 using various graphic techniques: watercolors, tempera, ink, pencils, pastels and charcoal. The designs are freehand sketches, light watercolors and delicate as the bossanova.
